Movie Review: Witchouse (1999)

That title spelling troubles me.

Unfortunately, the movie is as bad as the title.

The acting in this movie is bad, almost across the entire cast. The intro is quite long for a short movie, and filled with a lot of mid-to-late ’90s computer generated graphics. On my notes I wrote “Geocities” at one point after a skull popped up.

There are two sequels to this, and I’m kind of surprised. It must be because the story/background had more room to expand and it made enough money to cover the small budget, because this is not some hidden gem.

All that said, it wasn’t bad enough that I won’t at least give the sequels a shot as I work on finding 13 witch movies. It was also still a little better than Seedpeople, and way better than Slaughter High. It’ll be interesting to see if the sequels can be either better than this, or worse than the worst.
