Movie Reviews: The Curse of La Llorona

Despite the reviews, this movie is pretty good, one of the best Witchy type movies I’ve watched: it will probably end up in the top half of the thirteen, which is pretty good for one of the worst Blumhouse movies I’ve seen.

I’ll address that first. This movie was one of the least scary horror movies I’ve seen. It’s not even the scariest La Llorona movie I have seen, and I’ve seen two (I have a set of shorts from a horror fest here with a pretty decent short about La Llorona). There’s just no sense of anything scary here, to me.

This is a sort of movie I’d only recommend if someone was a completionist for Blumhouse or one of the actors, or if they definitely got to watch it for free. There are certainly worse movies out there, this one was just kind of bland.
