Movie Review: Invitation to Hell (1984)

This is a weird one. This is a TV-movie, and I’m not sure what the hell ends up happening at the end.

Basically, Robert Urich gets a job in a new town, and everyone in that town is a member of the Club. The people who join the Club turn into assholes. The leader of the cult of the club is a weirdo named Jessica Jones with magical powers.

Now, I’m not sure if the weird dimension toward the end is hell or what. It seems like a pretty lazy allegory for it. I’m not sure what the devil was up with Miss Jones. But she was witchy enough for this to qualify.

It’s a decent movie, but it’s below average so far for these. Sorry this one is short, but I’ve got a busy Monday, so…
